【Andante行板爱乐】【木管专业】曼哈顿音乐学院介绍以及2018学年申请指南
木管系
木管系不仅为学生们提供大量的表演机会，并且有专职教师和教授授课。木管系的目的旨在为培养更加成熟的演奏家，他们更加熟悉独奏、合奏、和管弦乐艺术，并且学会在不同历史时期的作品中如何恰当诠释。除了学院优秀的教师之外，还将与世界知名演奏家一起演出。
学院也非常荣幸能够建立木管五重奏，分别是长笛演奏家Tara O’Connor，双簧管演奏家Randall Ellis，单簧管演奏家Alan R. Kay，圆号演奏家David Jolley，巴松演奏家Frank Morelli，他们已经举办了一系列的音乐会并指导了许多学生组成的室内乐团。

现任木管系教师
Linda Chesis
耶鲁大学本科毕业，后在巴黎音乐学院跟随Jean-Pierre Rampal 学习了长笛。自1988年任教于曼哈顿音乐学院，学科长笛，并担任主任，2005年起任教于预科。
Alan Kay
不仅在曼哈顿音乐学院任教，同时也任教于茱莉亚音乐学院，Stony Brook University.
Liang Wang
2006年起加入纽约爱乐乐团双簧管首席。1993年考取了中央音乐学院，2003年毕业于柯蒂斯音乐学院，师从Richard Woodhams。先后在茱莉亚音乐学院，曼尼斯音乐学院，曼哈顿音乐学院，柯蒂斯音乐学院，首尔大学，纽约大学，北京、上海、河内、新加坡等地的音乐学院开展大师班。自2011年起任教于曼哈顿音乐学院，同时也任教于纽约大学，上海音乐学院和北京中央音乐学院荣誉教授。
