自1977年在大都会歌剧管弦乐队担任双簧管首席。1982年起任教于茱莉亚音乐学院,1997年被任命为木管专业主任,2016年也开始任教于茱莉亚预科。1981年开始任教于曼尼斯音乐学院,2009年起任教于巴德学院
